PRL Ardmore is located south of Mount Isa near Dajarra, in one of Queensland’s most active resource regions supporting mining, logistics and agriculture. Our operation draws on the strength of the local workforce, employing people from Dajarra, Mount Isa and across the state.

We mine a high-grade phosphate rock deposit using open-cut strip methods that allow efficient extraction with a smaller surface footprint and simpler rehabilitation. At full capacity, PRL Ardmore is expected to produce around 250 thousand tonnes of phosphate rock each year, supporting Australia’s agricultural supply chain and regional growth.

How we operate

We are committed to developing a mine that supports long-term regional value. We prioritise local employment and training, creating opportunities for people and suppliers across Dajarra, Mount Isa and wider Queensland.

Our operations focus on utilise drying systems to dry our product, significantly reducing our carbon footprint over conventional drying methods. This approach helps us produce a high-quality product while reducing its environmental impact.
